Can Nvidia RTX 2060 Save Nvidia? RTX 2060 Rumored Specs and Release Date

Nvidia RTX 2060 Latest Rumors

Nvidia’s latest graphics cards haven’t been doing that well. Nvidia RTX GPUs leave something to be desired in terms of performance. Usualy when a new GPU generation is released, the new GPUs perform at least 30% better than the former generation, but that isn’t the case with Nvidia RTX. Nvidia RTX performs around 10% better than last-gen GPUs so you can see why gamers haven’t been too happy with Nvidia RTX. Right now, Nvidia’s only hope is the low-end RTX GPUs.

If we simply go off of the benchmarks we already have with Nvidia RTX GPUs, yes the Nvidia RTX 2060 is going to be disappointing as well. Every Nvidia RTX GPU performs similarly to the last-gen GPU with the same price. For example, the Nvidia RTX 2080 runs games around 7 FPS better than the GTX 1080TI at 4k. The Nvidia RTX prices are usualy the same as the GPU that it performs similarly to. The RTX 2080 will cost you around $800, and the closest competitor to it is the GTX 1080TI which you can find for around $699. So we can assume that the RTX 2060 will cost you around $400. It is rumored not to feature ray tracing either, so it’s really not worth it to purchase an RTX 2060.

Nvidia RTX Hasn’t Been Doing That Well

Nvidia RTX GPU series haven’t been performing that well. Before Nvidia announced the RTX series GPUs, a lot of rumors were going around the internet claiming that RTX will change the gaming market forever but, Nvidia wasn’t able to do that. In their presentation, they didn’t even talk about Nvidia RTX’s gaming performance. It seemed like Nvidia RTX GPUs aren’t even gaming GPUs. It seemed like Nvidia forgot about gamers and got carried away with Ray Tracing.
